It is always in your company’s best interest to understand the importance of background checks and why, to save both time and potential hassle, you should not perform these tests on your own. Nowadays, hiring a person is not as simple as looking at their resume and scheduling an interview.

There are many tests that must be conducted before a job applicant is hired. These include reviewing identity verification, litigation records, education verification, medical records, drug tests, employment history, criminal history and worker’s compensation records, just to list a few.
