National Criminal Records Database Search is a powerful criminal search to augment any pre-employment screening program. By searching over 200 million records covering all 50 States including the District of Columbia, this robust search contained criminal records from statewide repositories and archives, department of corrections, local county information, traffic violations and infractions, and administration of courts records
A database search is performed using Name and Date of Birth. Next, we conduct a more detailed local-level confirmation search on any results found and report any felony or misdemeanor records within the last 7 years. This two-step process gives you a fast response when no match is found, and if we do report a record, the information is timely, accurate and complete. With our database search, you’ll have the added reassurance of knowing that you are following state and federal compliance laws.
Note to Employers: Per FCRA Guidelines Section 13, Origin Background Checks must insure that whenever public record information which is likely to have an adverse effect on a consumer’s ability to obtain employment is reported it is complete and up to date. For employment purposes, any public record information obtained from criminal databases that is likely to have an adverse effect will be verified before it is reported to insure it is complete and up to date. This may require additional research costs to conduct court research but will insure public records are complete and up to date, and provide your firm with the best possible criminal background check.
Origin Background Checks includes our National Criminal Data Base Search with all of our platforms.
